What our guarantee covers, for how long, and how to claim on it. It sits on top of your legal rights and never replaces them.

02 What is not covered
- Fair wear and tear, including the natural softening of foam and cushion fillings, and the patina that develops on leather and oiled timber.
- Variation in the grain, colour, veining or marking of natural materials.
- Damage from misuse, accident, neglect, pets, sharp objects, or failure to follow our care instructions.
- Fading or drying caused by direct sunlight or by placing furniture next to a radiator or a working fireplace.
- Damage caused by cleaning products we have not recommended, or by professional cleaning carried out against our guidance.
- Commercial, contract or rental use, unless the piece was sold on our trade terms.
- Items that have been modified, repaired or re-upholstered by anyone other than us.
03 Making a claim
Email support@homartuk.com with your order number, a description of the problem and clear photographs. We may ask for a video, or arrange for a technician to inspect the piece in your home.
Where a claim is valid we will, at our option, repair the item, replace the affected part, replace the whole item, or refund you in proportion to the use you have had. Replacement parts are guaranteed for the remainder of the original period.
The guarantee is transferable to a subsequent owner of the piece, provided we are given the original order number and reasonable evidence of the transfer.
This guarantee is given voluntarily by us. It does not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which last up to six years in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and five years in Scotland, and which you can rely on instead of, or as well as, this guarantee.
